Does anyone know if there are any Grad Meteorology/Atmospheric Science sites that list programs by specializations? I'm looking for a program that really focuses on severe weather/tornadoes/weather forecasting. I noticed a lot specialize in hurricanes and tropical storms.
I know University of Oklahoma and Texas Tech would be good choices, any others?
I'm a math major in WA, and I've chosen to do a 10-15 page paper/presentation on applied math in meteorology. I understand that partial diffs and non-linear dynamics are commonly used, but i can't find many resources online that go into detail about the applications.
Any tips you can give me? Any books you recommend? Any descriptions or quick tidbits to help me?
Any help is appreciated greatly. Thank you.
